Saratoga Wedding: Jenny + Luke

I love when I arrive ready to photograph a Wedding 

and the bride is just

glowing.

June bride Jenny Erickson was beaming when I arrived at The Cypress Hotel in Cupertino, Ca.

Her dress was chic and fitting in all the right places. Luke was dashing in a gray suit and popped

some color with the perfect purple tie. Jenny and Luke were wed at the beautiful Saratoga Springs venue in Saratoga, Ca on June 16th. 

One of my favorite accents from this wedding was their adorable cake topper that brilliantly resembled Jenny and Luke. The venue's forest and campy environment created a casual and inviting place to celebrate and hang out. And what's an outdoors summer Wedding without smores? Jenny and Luke made sure there was a safe area to make some tasty snacks as the night came to an blissful end.

Congratulations Jenny and Luke, here's to love and happiness....

Akemi Okamoto Fall 2012 Lookbook

Its no surprise I love working with Akemi and teaming up with the SF designer for a second lookbook

earlier this year was only a ingenious given.

For her Fall 2012 Lookbook you can defiantly see some 'Akemi signature' designs; gorgeous sheer blouses, symmetrical cuts & flattering color palettes.
My favorite stand out pieces from the fall collection was the color block blouse & cape-tiered jacket, so chic!

Up Against the Wall

Hey.

If you didnt already know, I got a crazy awesome studio in Downtown San Jose near beautiful Japantown.

I am not new to having a personal studio space but this particular studio is mine all to myself and the first time

I've ever officially leased something. I feel like such a grown up in my 1,000 sq ft. space.

Although I've personally been going through alot I keep reminding myself that I can't run away from my

pain and problems. My studio had become like a safe haven and recently when that area was challenged, I

realized that dealing with trials is a state of mind. I know I can't rely on my own understanding or

strength to get through some issues so my Mom had me do something pretty cool to the walls while

we were painting yesterday. She told me to paint the words you want God to provide for this space.

At first I was like "Um ok", but then when I started doing it I realized "Yes, this is what I need".

Thanks Mom for always being there for this starving artist. And special thanks to my son Micah

for being a good boy yesterday even though being bored out of his mind.
